Convoy, Inc., a manufacturer of fluted plastic returnable and reusable containers, picking bins and partitions, is experiencing an exciting year of growth and development.  Convoy has hired Mr. Adam Smith as Assistant Sales Manager and Ms. Kelly Ray as Inside Sales Representative.  The energetic duo brings an ambitious work ethic to the sales department.  As a result, beginning January 1, 2002, Convoy will respond to all standard RFQ’s the same day, most being completed in four hours or less (sample requests ship in two days).  Convoy has secured unprecedented raw material costs and is poised to be the best low cost producer in 2002 and beyond.

Convoy is perfecting the use of 10mm Heat Welded Sleeves.  The process does not use any adhesives or bonding compounds, which makes the sleeve completely recyclable.  The sleeves can be used with plastic pallets to solve material handling needs.  Because of an increasing limit on shipping wood/paper products, fluted plastic offers a cost effective, strong and environmentally sound alternative.

Convoy has created a small order department that fulfills the growing need for small orders and pilot runs.  The department uses a new Data Technology sample table (no die charge) and specializes in quantities of twenty-five or less.
