INVENTION

Invented by the Italians and Japanese in the late 1960's, Fluted Plastic is a remarkable material. It is the only material we know that can provide a box which is simultaneously large and light, yet still strong and affordable - a seemingly impossible combination.

U.S. Introduction

Introduced into the U.S. by Convoy in 1970, we were, for a number of years, the only producers of plastic corrugated boxes. Convoy now has 26 years of experience with Fluted Plastic, more than any other manufacturer. With the adoption of Fluted Plastic by the U.S. Post Office, and later by the auto makers, Fluted Plastic came into the mainstream corporate world. Today Fluted Plastic is growing at a remarkable rate.
