Minimums and Setup Charges

We have no minimum order quantity on any model. A setup charge of $25.00 is assessed when a model's order value is less than $100.  Sorry, different models may not be combined to qualify for quantity discounts.  Orders under $100.00 that are paid for by credit card are not subject to the $25.00 fee

Standard Colors

  • Chemboard and Unhardened Fiberboard and solid Fiber are tan-colored. Painting is available on Chemboard at extra cost.
  • The standard color for Fluted Plastic is bright blue.  Thirteen other colors are available to choose from, but may extend shipping time.

New Accounts

To establish credit for new customers, we check Dun & Bradstreet ratings.  For customers with a good rating, the order is then produced and shipped.  For customers with a questionable rating or no rating, a full D & B report is requested.  Customers may also submit their own credit and banking references.  In cases where good credit cannot be fully established, we may request payment in advance (1% cash discount), or we may ship a partial order and hold the balance until payment is made.

Billing

Invoices are due 30 days from invoice date, on a Net basis.  After 30 days, 1 1/2 % per month will be added to the invoice amount.  When payment is overdue, no further shipments are possible until the amount is fully paid.  At 100 days, we place overdue accounts for collection.

 

Shipping Information

Shipping Date

With thousands of sizes, it is impossible to stock boxes, so virtually all standard models are run-to-order.  Shipment of standard sizes and new sizes usually takes 2-4 weeks (longer during our Christmas holiday and March 31 inventory shut-downs).  Delivery period begins when we receive your written order (or written approval of sample, if provided).

For best delivery:

  • Accept a partial shipment (may involve higher shipping costs).
  • Enter a Just-In-Time (J.I.T.) blanket order, non-changeable/non-cancelable for a period of time agreed upon between both parties.

Overage and Underage

To insure highest quality, the final quantity shipped may be 5% over or under the quantity ordered.  If exact quantities are needed the purchase order must indicate this specification.

Cartoning, Palletizing, and Unitizing

  • Most orders are shipped in corrugated shipping containers. For exceptionally large-size boxes, where cartoning is prohibitively expensive, we stretch wrap the boxes on a pallet.
  • On rare occasion, we can load the boxes "loose in a trailer (when it allows us to get a larger quantity in a smaller space, thus lowering freight charges).

Shipping Method

Most all shipments are made F.O.B. in Canton, Ohio.  They are normally shipped prepay and bill, via commercial truckline, U.P.S., FedEx, or broker. Customers may elect to pick up shipments. Air freight is possible, however, you must submit your company's U.P.S. or FedEx number.

Freight Rates

Orders are processed through our computerized freight department to get the lowest possible freight rate. We continually negotiate with the truckers on your behalf, to get the highest discounts and lowest rates. We pass the savings along to you. If you have a specific freight company that you would like us to use, please specify on your purchase order.  Otherwise we will consider it to be "Best Way."
